Reporting a mistake
If a guide is wrong, unclear or out of date, please tell us. It helps to include:
- the address of the page;
- which step or sentence is the problem;
- what you saw on your screen instead, and your version of Windows if you know it.
We fix confirmed mistakes quickly and update the "Checked" date on the guide.

Steady PC Guide is a publication, not a support service. We cannot look at your computer, diagnose a problem or repair it, and we will never ask for remote access, passwords or payment. For help with a product, use the contact details on the company's official website, which you should type into your browser yourself:
